About Clay

I’m a dad, entrepreneur, and Certified EOS Implementer.

I started an IT services company with friends my senior year of college, way back in 2001. Over the next ten years, the business slowly grew to $5M in revenue and 30 team members – and then got stuck there for a while.

I read book after book but still had trouble putting all the theory into practice. Then a friend gave me a copy of Traction (thanks Ed), It clicked, and very quickly I found a local EOS Implementer and began to implement EOS. Over the next six years. the business grew to $20M+ revenue and 100+ team members. It worked.

Over that time, I fell in love with building and coaching our leadership team, and it became clear to me that’s where I should dedicate my time: helping owners and their leadership teams get everything they want out of their business.

I’ve been in your shoes, and I would be honored to guide you and your team on your EOS journey.

Briefly:

  • Operating from Chapel Hill, NC; servicing clients in-person in the Southeast and virtually across the globe.

Important note: I’m a Tar Heel. My fellow Tar Heels find it odd I pull for Duke in the NCAA Tournament. My dream is the Tar Heels and Blue Devils meeting in the National Championship every. single. year. I hope you're a Tar Heel. It's ok if you're not - sometimes it's more fun that way.
